Scared Scriptless Improv has been delighting Alaskan audiences with fresh comedy since 2000. Founded by Jason Martin, Tom Atkins and Joan Cullins at Side Street Espresso, the Scriptless gang grew and has graced the stages of Cyrano’s Theater, Alaska Wildberry Company, the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, Hard Rock Cafe, 49th State Brewing, and The Nave in Anchorage as well as performing all over Alaska. To date, Scared Scriptless has produced more than 500 shows featuring over 60 troupe members. Scared Scriptless Improv is operated by Last Frontier of Comedy (LFC), a non-profit established in 2018. LFC’s mission is: – To promote the appreciation and advancement of improvisational comedy in Alaska, by providing performance and education opportunities in the community, and; – To support and strengthen their community through improvisational comedy which deepens understanding for and fosters connections between community members, and through donations to local charities. We are also available for private events. Whether you are looking for entertainment for your corporate party or workshops that will help with professional or personal skills, we are available. 50% of the profit from these events goes into an improv education scholarship fund run by LFC.
